Cheerleading Uniform.? My cheerleading uniform fits perfectly but the shell. I'm 5'4, 110 pounds, and the only size left they had for me was an XL. It SOOO BIG! Its all baggy and stuff. What can I do to make it fit more (like skin tight or something like that). Can i clip it or have temporary sewing in it? What should I do and how?
Thanks in advance! |
| If that's what you already paid for. Then I would suggest taking it to your local cleaners and have it altered to fit you. In cheerleading you never want a skin tight uniform. Actually, some schools and county cheerleading clubs don't allow anything that is so tight and small that it shows everything you have. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. |

| if you dont feel comfortable in it then ask your coach for a new one(: |
Is there a way to find an authentic nfl cheerleading uniform? I was wondering if it could be possible to maybe find, and buy an authentic nfl cheerleading uniform [such as dallas cowboys, or tampa bay buccaneers]. I would love to find a real one! |
Sure..
1) Contact the NFL...
2) Contact an authentic NFL Cheerleader
Either way you need to find out the manufacturer of the clothing and either purchase a new one or get an old one from someone who has it.

What bra to get for cheerleading uniform? I'm on a semi-professional cheerleading squad who is switching to a halter style uniform. I'm a 34DD so I need a firm amount of support. All of the ideas that the coach has suggested are little pre-teen style bras and will not work for me. A convertible bra would not provide enough support on it's own either. |
Actually a convertible bra will provide enough support, proven it is in your correct size. If it doesn't give you enough support, something is wrong with the bra or size. It should work well on your size.
I would recommend a moulded/padded one as this will keep it's shape.
But how to tell if the size is wrong? The band will ride up or slide down, you'd carry the weight of the breasts on your shoulders, the cups would be bulging or gaping and etc. I'm sure you could find tons of a manuals how to tell a badly fitting bra for example on youtube
If you're not getting enough support, try to remeasure. Try to go as tight as is comfortable in the band for best support for a bigger bust. Of course, if you decrease your band size, the cup size has to increase. For example if a girl wore a 28FF in UK sizing and 28H in US, she'd have the bust the same size as you, but she'd be just more narrow in the ribcage. My friend always says: "Letters don't bite", as it seems there is a sort of "letterphoby" when it comes to bras common among girls.
If you're a cheerlander, you're probably slim and fit. Consider that I, a 5.5 tall and 170lbs heavy girl wear a 32 band (that actually still rides up a bit. I need new bras). True, I have a really small waist and I'm not exactly tall, but still...
I am a 32FF-G. I can wear my bra halter style without loosing support. My only issue is too much pressure on my neck, but I found out I can run the strap through a string circle that I put the band through as well. It works with transparent straps instead of the string as well if you shorten them to the max and get a circle.
Alternatively, if this doesn't work after all, you may still get a convertible bra, but add transparent or nude straps and wear it cross- back. It gets hidden in wider halters from the front. If transparent straps tear or create deep ridges on your shoulders however, it is a proof your size is most probably incorrect. |
Where can i buy a display case for a cheerleading uniform? I'm looking to frame a cheerleading uniform for a friend, where can i buy one? Ive only seen cases for other sport jerseys. Would they work out the same? |
| Yes. |
Where can I find a male cheerleading uniform close to what the guys on Glee wear? My friend is looking to do this costume for Halloween and wants my help. I wasn't sure if there were any male cheerleading costumes close to what WMHS's uniform looks like from the TV show GLEE. |
| Glee fails |
What would happen if a boy wore a girl's cheerleading uniform to school on a game day? Suppose a 15-year old boy was wearing a girl's cheerleading uniform to school on a game day to match the rest of the cheerleaders, even though only the girls were the actual cheerleaders? What would other students say to him? What about teachers? Would it make any difference if he was wearing pantyhose with the uniform? Would he be allowed to stay in school that day, or would he be sent home to change? |
omg that would be sooo hilarious((:
do it and see what happens! you prob might get funny looks and maybe get sent home but it would be funny. |
If I wear my cheerleading uniform tomorrow and on Christmas Day, would that be Christmas cheer? I'm 17, and a varsity cheerleader in high school. I'm going to wear my cheerleading uniform all day on Christmas Day when visiting family, opening presents, etc. I may even wear it tomorrow around the house. Would that be the definition of Christmas cheer? |
| It works for me. |
Are you allowed to wear a bra with a cheerleading uniform? Some girls in cheerleading look as if they have no boobs at all, I was wondering why? Is it the uniform squishing your boobs down or is it that you have to wear a special bra? |
| most all cheerleaders do wear sports bras under their uniforms, some wear a regular one and a sports bra. but it looks like they don't have boobs cuz alot of them don't lol it's from all the gymnastics and lifting that they do (if you look at gymnasts they barely have any) |
